Job Summary:
The CAD Designer supports the manufacturing and engineering teams by creating clear, professional visual materials that communicate technical information and production needs. This role blends creative design with technical accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Create technical visuals for engineering and production (diagrams, labels, process guides, work instructions)
Collaborate with Engineering to ensure technical accuracy in drawings and visual documentation
Render & provide complete CAD models for “Build-A-Boat” for all NPD projects
Verify & prepare files for print production and coordinate with vendors
Organize and manage design files and templates
Design and maintain marketing materials (brochures, sell sheets, spec sheets, trade show graphics, signage, decals)
Develop and update product graphics for boats (logos, model branding, graphics packages, vinyl layouts)
Maintain brand standards across all materials
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in graphic design (manufacturing or technical environment preferred)
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical information
Experience preparing print-ready files and working with vendors
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in marine, manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments
Familiarity with technical drawings or CAD files (Siemens NX, Rhino, SolidWorks, etc.)
Knowledge of large-format printing, vinyl graphics, and signage
Experience with presenting technical data in visual documentation or drawings
