Main activities and tasks:

  • Support target SLA’s for the Core Voice Inbox;
  • Raising (Emergency / Expedited CRQ’s) related to INC or Urgent support;
  • Effectively managing and controlling change, ensuring all necessary updates are carried out during and after event in order to deliver successful network change;
  • Compile accurate CRQs within the Helix Tool, ensuring alignment with TUK change process adherence;
  • Compile accurate Implementation plans, ensuring alignment with change process adherence.
  • Ensures that the appropriate resources are allocated to the change events working with Vendors, Suppliers, and Functional areas.
  • Operate effective quality management and configuration control;
  • Maintaining and complying with performance measures for delivery and efficiency;
  • Provide clear and effective communication with all the stakeholders;
  • Establish, maintain and Publish a Tracker for each project or work assignment;
  • Perform all tasks in the allocated time for each CRQ; Perform extra activities for Performance area as BAU or on requests:
  • Use and operate with Network Performance tools: Proptima and Foresight;
  • Update an existing report or building a new one according to the requirements;
  • Highlight by email and on the event bridge call/chat any anomalies observe on the KPIs trends;
  • Raising Helix Incident Cases for any tool or KPI reporting issue;
  • Follow the Core Support Tracker (CST) to understand the impacted nodes that need to be monitored and path for existing perfirmance reports;
  • Performs other tasks within the scope of the role, as requested by the immediate supervisor, within the limits of own professional competence (e.g. reports, analyses, specific projects, etc.).

 

 

ROLE SPECIFICATION

The role will be responsible for the successful delivery of assigned elements within Networks Operations Projects with the goal being to deliver successful change events.

The role holder will be expected to have good communication with key stakeholders plan and execute effective changes, without unplanned impact on customers.

 

It will be necessary to employ key measures and promote required behaviours to support reduced

 

cost, improved investment efficiency and faster time to market.

 

The Event Controller may also be called upon to directly lead small pieces of work without the direction of a Project Manager.

 

Required Education & Trainings:

  • Technical University degree – Telecommunication/ IT or related

 

 

Required Experience:

  • At least 1 year professional experience in telecom area;
  • Relevant experience of working in an environment of change involving new systems, new processes and multicultural environment;
  • Experience in managing complex change events within a live mobile network;
  • Strong technical background in the Telecommunication / IT industry;
  • Proven track record of delivery and and achieving results on the area of interest;
  • Advanced knowledge for Microsoft Office Pack;
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills in English;

 

Specific skills & technical knowledge:

  • Fluent communication in English (Written & Verbal), including understanding of technical terms and phrases;
  • Ability to work as part of a diverse team;
  • Ability to perform job functions to standards under pressure of tense/confrontational situations;
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous with demanding/difficult customers and/or situations;
  • Ability to provide concise and clear, written and verbal reports;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Excellent Excel skills using Charts view, Conditional formatting, Formulas, Pivot tables etc;
