Job Summary:

We are seeking an AWS Cloud Application Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable, secure, and high-performing AWS-based solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud-native architectures and hands-on expertise across the AWS ecosystem.

The ideal candidate brings over 8 years of experience in AWS cloud application development, including at least 5 years architecting complex cloud solutions. You will be responsible for designing systems aligned with the AWS Well-Architected Framework, leveraging core services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, and IAM.

Key Responsibilities:

• 8+ years in AWS cloud application development and 5+ years in architecting cloud applications
• Proficiency with core AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, IAM) and the AWS Well-Architected Framework
• Experience optimizing cloud applications for speed, scalability, and cost efficiency
• 3+ years of experience creating and managing CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, or GitHub Actions
• Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices (e.g., encryption, IAM, network security) and scanning tools (e.g., Wiz)
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK
• Proficiency with AWS CloudWatch, X-Ray, or similar tools for monitoring, logging, and performance tracking
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Javascript)
• Experience with GitHub, Zenhub, or Jira for collaboration
• Strong communication and mentoring skills for cross-functional collaboration
