Marketing Assistant
Position Summary
The Marketing Assistant will support the marketing team with day-to-day execution across digital marketing, events, content, and brand initiatives. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized self-starter who enjoys juggling multiple projects and wants hands-on experience in B2B marketing, trade shows, and digital campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with social media scheduling, posting, and basic analytics tracking
• Support email marketing campaigns and list management
• Help coordinate trade shows, events, and sponsorships including logistics and materials.
• Assist with website updates through WordPress and basic content management
• Support content creation including blogs, case studies, press releases, and graphics.
• Maintain marketing calendars, project trackers, and shared folders
• Coordinate with sales and business development on marketing requests
• Assist with vendor communication and asset management
• Track campaign performance and compile basic reports
Qualifications
• 1 to 3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or related field
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Familiarity with social media platforms and email marketing tools
• Basic understanding of digital marketing and B2B marketing preferred
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, or similar tools is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred Experience
• Construction, security, SaaS, or B2B services industry experience
• Trade show or event marketing experience
• Basic SEO or Google Analytics exposure
• CRM or marketing automation platform experience
