Job Description

Blue Dolphin Screen Print & Embroidery – Seacoast NH

We’re growing and looking for someone who can bridge the gap between design and production — someone who understands how great artwork turns into great finished products.

If you’re equally comfortable behind a screen and behind a printer, and you like solving problems, working with your hands, and seeing your work come to life, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a hybrid role combining digital printing and production art responsibilities, so your day will vary depending on production needs.

On the Production Side

  •         Set up and operate digital printing equipment based on job specs and production schedules
  •         Review work orders to confirm materials, quantities, and print requirements
  •         Dial in color, registration, and print quality—making adjustments as needed
  •         Troubleshoot print and equipment issues to keep jobs moving efficiently
  •         Maintain production speed while hitting quality standards
  •         Keep equipment and workspace clean and organized
  •         Track and complete production records
  •         Help train others as needed

On the Art / Pre-Press Side

  •         Prepare and adjust artwork for production (separations, sizing, cleanup, etc.)
  •         Work in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat daily
  •         Adapt designs to different garments, substrates, and print methods
  •         Collaborate with production and sales to make sure artwork prints correctly
  •         Make edits not just for appearance—but for efficiency and smooth production runs
  •         Manage multiple jobs, priorities, and deadlines at once

What We’re Looking For

We’re flexible on background, but the ideal candidate has a mix of:

  •         Experience in graphic design, print production, or both
  •         Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)
  •         Understanding of print processes (especially textile printing) is a big plus
  •         Ability to troubleshoot and think critically on the fly
  •         Strong attention to detail—this role directly impacts final product quality
  •         Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently when needed
  •         Solid organization and time management
  •         Bonus points for:

o    Experience with digital printing equipment

o    Knowledge of inks, substrates, and color management

o    Familiarity with ShopWorks or similar systems

What the Job is Like

  •         Fast-paced, hands-on production environment
  •         A mix of creative and technical work—no two days are exactly the same
  •         You’ll be part of a team that values quality, efficiency, and problem-solving
  •         Opportunity to grow your skills across both design and production

________________________________________

Requirements

  •         Degree in Graphic Design or related field or equivalent experience
  •         At least 1+ year in a production environment (more preferred)
  •         Ability to be on-site (this is not a remote role)

________________________________________

  •         $18.00 – $24.00/hour (based on experience)
  •         Benefits after 60 days:

o    Paid holidays and PTO (Paid Time Off)

o    Dental, Short-Term Disability, Life & AD&D
