Description

• Safely operate tower, crawler, and hydro cranes in accordance with NCCCO standards and company safety procedures

• Perform lifting, positioning, and placement of concrete forms, flown tables, placing booms, and related materials

• Conduct pre-operation inspections and ensure cranes are maintained in safe working condition

• Coordinate closely with superintendents, riggers, signal persons, and crew members to ensure safe and efficient operations

• Identify potential hazards and proactively communicate concerns to supervisors and team members

• Follow all OSHA regulations, site safety plans, and Suntec Concrete safety policies

• Support project timelines while maintaining the highest level of safety and quality

Requirements

• Valid NCCCO certification for tower, crawler, and hydro cranes

• Demonstrated experience with:

  • Flown tables and placing booms

  • Column and wall form systems

• Strong safety-focused decision-making skills, including:

  • Never overriding crane safety functions

  • Proactively identifying and communicating issues or risks

• Ability to work Saturdays and night shifts as project schedules require

• Previous experience in commercial concrete construction

• Knowledge of rigging practices and load calculations

• Strong teamwork and communication skills in fast-paced construction environments
