Description
Position Summary:
The HR Generalist Italy supports the delivery of core HR processes across multiple departments within the organization. The role partners closely with HR Business Partners, managers, and employees to ensure consistent application of HR policies, compliance with local labor regulations, and effective employee lifecycle management in a multinational environment.
Job Responsibilities:
HR Generalist + HR Operations
- Support end to end employee lifecycle activities, including recruitment support, onboarding, employment contracts and amendments, and offboarding across all departments
- Act as a first point of contact for managers and employees, providing day to day guidance on HR policies, procedures, and HR tools
- Support employee relations activities, handling routine cases independently and escalating complex matters to the HR Business Partner as appropriate
- Support performance management processes, including annual review and compensation cycles, in coordination with HR Business Partners
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices in line with company standards and local requirements
- Contribute to regional and global HR initiatives and projects, collaborating with cross functional HR stakeholders
HR Operations & Administration Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal HR policies, working closely with external advisors and internal stakeholders as required
- Coordinate and maintain accurate HR documentation and personnel files, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
- Maintain hands on ownership of data accuracy within HRIS systems, ensuring timely and accurate updates across the employee lifecycle
- Partner with Payroll and Finance teams to support accurate data flow, payroll inputs, and ongoing HR administration activities
- Support audit and reporting activities by providing accurate HR data and documentation as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar HR role, preferably in a multinational environment
- Solid knowledge of HR processes and employment law
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
- Fluency in English and Italian is mandatory
- Experience using SAP SuccessFactors is a plus.
- Additional European languages are a strong plus
