At BGF Industries, we don’t just manufacture materials—we engineer solutions that power industries from aerospace to automotive to advanced composites. Our Parts Plant is a fast-paced, highly technical environment where innovation meets execution.

We’re looking for a Parts Process Engineer who thrives on solving complex problems, improving manufacturing performance, and working directly with customers to bring products from concept to production.

If you enjoy being on the plant floor, owning processes end-to-end, and making a measurable impact on quality, throughput, and customer satisfaction—this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

 • Develop customer requirements, CAD designs, and tooling specifications
 • Serve as the project gatekeeper for tracking progress and timelines
 • Coordinate machinery installation and program launches
 • Improve throughput, yield, and quality across production lines
 • Develop and maintain setup sheets, work instructions, and control plans
 • Identify and act on quality trends and process variation
 • Lead corrective actions (CARs) and root cause analysis efforts
 • Translate customer requirements into manufacturing specifications
 • Serve as primary liaison between customers and the plant
 • Support product trials, testing, and validation efforts
 • Define and monitor critical product and process characteristics
 • Support Statistical Process Control (SPC) implementation

What You Bring

Required:
 • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related)
 • Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC)
 • Strong technical writing and communication skills
 • Ability to work cross-functionally
 • Computer proficiency

 Preferred:
 • Manufacturing, textiles, nonwovens, or automotive experience
 • CAD design experience
 • Customer-facing engineering experience
 • New product launch and process optimization experience

Work Environment

This is a hands-on manufacturing role requiring time on the production floor.

 • Standing, walking, and moving throughout the plant
 • Exposure to fiberglass, dust, and manufacturing environments
 • Ability to lift, climb, and work around industrial equipment
 • Must be able to wear required PPE

Why Join BGF
