Supply Technician

Philadelphia, PA and Carderoc, MD

Spectrum Comm is currently sourcing for a talented Material Handler to provide clerical and physical tasks in connection with Shipping and Receiving at our customer site in Philadelphia, PA or Carderoc, MD.

Responsibilities:

• Perform clerical and physical tasks in connection with receiving, managing, and shipping goods; recording transactions into automated systems such as Navy ERP or Microsoft Office 
• Direct and coordinate the activities of other workers engaged in handling goods to be shipped or being received. 
• Verify the correctness of incoming and outgoing shipments. Comparing items and quantities unloaded or received against bills of lading, invoices, manifests, storage receipts, or other records
• Check for damaged goods 
• Ensures all goods are appropriately identified for routing to departments within the establishment
• Operates a light truck (Straight truck, less than 1 1/2 tons, and usually 4 wheels), passenger vehicle and manually controlled forklift to transport goods and materials of all kinds on base and about a storage facility

Minimum Qualifications:

• Eligibility for DoD Secret Clearance 
• 2+ years of related Naval or DoD Supply Chain/Logistics and warehousing experience

Preferred Certifications:

• Active DoD Secret Clearance 
• Forklift Operators Certification
