Responsibilities:

Role Overview
We are looking for a T1 Platform Engineer (Automation) to support and automate core platform operations. The role focuses on scripting, basic automation, and assisting in maintaining reliable infrastructure and platform services. This is an entry-level role with strong learning and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine operational tasks
• Support platform reliability, monitoring, and incident resolution at Level 1
• Assist in deployment, configuration, and maintenance of platform services
• Work with senior engineers to improve automation and operational efficiency
• Perform basic troubleshooting of infrastructure, applications, and pipelines
• Maintain documentation for automation scripts and operational procedures
• Follow security, compliance, and best-practice guidelines



Qualifications:

Mandatory Skills
• Hands-on experience with automation scripting
• Strong Bash / Shell scripting
• Knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, Go, Java, or similar)
• Basic understanding of Linux/Unix systems
• Familiarity with Git / version control

Nice to Have
• Exposure to Kubernetes and container concepts
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Awareness or curiosity around AI/ML platforms or automation using AI tools
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
