About the Role

Own delivery from handoff to closeout.

The Pro A/V Project Manager is responsible for planning, readiness, execution flow, change management, and closeout for Pro A/V integration projects. You ensure what was sold is delivered cleanly, profitably, and without surprises.

  • You do not design systems.
  • You do not sell work.
  • You do ensure projects are ready to build, executed in sequence, and closed out professionally.

This role is ideal for a disciplined PM who understands construction-adjacent workflows, technical coordination, and the realities of Pro A/V delivery.

What Youll Own

  • Own project execution from handoff through closeout
  • Validate handoff completeness (scope, assumptions, drawings, budget)
  • Establish Ready-to-Build status:
    • Materials ordered and tracked
    • Drawings and documentation complete
    • Site access, schedule, and dependencies confirmed
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and task sequencing
  • Coordinate internal resources (SEs, Install Leads, technicians)
  • Coordinate externally with clients, GCs, ECs, and consultants
  • Own change order discipline:
    • Identify scope changes early
    • Document, price, and route approvals
  • Track budget, labor, and margin against plan
  • Drive commissioning and client acceptance in partnership with SEs and Install Leads
  • Own project closeout:
    • Punch lists
    • Documentation
    • Billing readiness
    • Final acceptance

What You Are Not Responsible For

  • Selling projects or carrying revenue quota
  • Designing or engineering systems
  • Managing field crews day-to-day
  • Absorbing scope changes without documentation

(You collaborate closely - you do not absorb other roles.)

What Success Looks Like

  • Install teams receive clear plans and complete materials
  • Scope changes are documented and controlled
  • Clients experience calm, predictable delivery
  • Projects close cleanly - technically and financially

  • Comfortable managing schedules, budgets, and change orders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized, methodical, and comfortable enforcing process
  • OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety Certification required within the first -months (training supported by High Output).

Preferred / Bonus Experience

  • Experience in design/build A/V integration environments
  • Familiarity with education, performance venues, corporate, or worship projects
  • Experience working alongside GCs and ECs
  • PMP certification a plus (not required)
  • Ability to read and understand system drawings and scopes

What We Offer
