About the Opportunity:
The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to the President, and other members of the executive leadership team. Reporting directly to the President, providing support in a one-on-one working relationship. The Executive Assistant will provide support to the senior management team; organize and coordinate executive outreach and external relations efforts and oversee special projects. The ideal individual will be required to exercise good judgment in a diversity of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.
Please note this is an in-person position at Seekr's HQ in Reston, VA Monday to Friday. This is not a remote or hybrid role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage sensitive matters with an elevated level of confidentiality, integrity, and discretion, especially decisions directly impacting the operations of the company.
- Draft and prepare correspondence for internal announcements, board meetings, business contacts, and organizations the executive is involved with.
- Ability to function well in a demanding environment; including special projects from time to time.
- Excellent communication and time management skills; proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Arrange travel, hotel accommodations, and prepare expense reports.
- Prepare Word, Excel, PowerPoint presentations, agendas, reports, special projects, and other documents in support of objectives for the organization.

- Be responsive to emails/texts/phone calls, which may include contact outside of normal US business hours.
- Represent the company and the Executive in a positive light through great follow-through skills and sound judgment.
- Conserve the Executive's time by reading, researching, collecting, and analyzing information as needed, in advance.
- Organize complex calendars and schedules, resolving any scheduling issues.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 6+ years of related experience required in working in an executive assistant role supporting C-Level executives.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally. Proficiency in English grammar and language required.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information securely and in confidence.
- Bachelor’s or related degree preferred but not required.
- Advanced Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Flexible hours as dictated by the needs of the business for projects and meetings.
- Ability to think outside of the box.
- Bias towards action and act with a sense of urgency.
