    Position Summary

    Burlington County Special Services School District and Burlington County Institute of Technology Board of Education is seeking qualified candidate for the full-time position of Non-Aligned Central Office Secretary. The position is year round (12 months). Bachelors Degree preferred. Experience in a busy confidential office setting preferred. Candidate will support a fast-paced administrative environment. This full-time position requires strong organizational, communication, and time management skills, along with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.

    Experienced candidates will have excellent communication and organizational skills. Must be able to carry out matters accurately and timely to ensure the smooth efficient operation of the Central Office. Ability to deal with staff as well as the public in a professional, confidential and competent manner. Proficiency in basic office procedures and operation of office equipment. Ability to multi-task and take direction well yet still be self motivated. 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure smooth and efficient daily office operations
    • Manage correspondence, scheduling, and record-keeping
    • Manage front-desk operations by greeting, screening, and directing visitors to the appropriate administration
    • Perform general clerical tasks
    • Handle telephone communications with professionalism
    • Work independently and meet deadlines effectively
    • Works collaboratively with Central office Administration 

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
    • Proven secretarial or administrative experience in a busy office setting
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.)
    • Experience with EduMet, Genesis, and standard office equipment preferred
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience in an educational or public sector environment

    Salary & Benefits

    Salary Range: $40,000 � $50,000
