Position Details
- Position: Part-Time Administrative Assistant (Admissions Support)
- Schedule: 3 days per week
- Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 annually, based on experience
- Location: Brooklyn, NY
Responsibilities
- Assist the Admissions team with daily administrative and clerical tasks
- Answer phone calls and greet visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
- Help coordinate admissions paperwork and resident documentation
- Maintain accurate records and files
- Communicate with hospitals, referral sources, residents, and families
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the admissions process
- Assist with scheduling, data entry, filing, and other office duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous administrative experience preferred, healthcare experience a plus
- Strong customer service and communication skills required
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
