The Senior Mechanical Engineer – Customer & Vendor Programs is responsible for leading mechanical design engineering activities, providing customer-facing technical support, and developing strategic vendor partnerships with an emphasis on best-cost countries. This role works closely with internal cross-functional teams, customers, and suppliers to deliver high-quality, cost-effective engineered solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design Engineering:

• Lead mechanical design and development of custom engineered products.


• Create and review CAD models, drawings, tolerances, and engineering documentation.


• Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities.


• Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure design for manufacturability.

Customer-Facing Support:

• Serve as the primary technical interface for assigned customers.


• Conduct technical reviews, presentations, and customer meetings.


• Translate customer requirements into engineering solutions.

Vendor Development:

• Identify, evaluate, and develop vendors in best-cost countries.


• Lead supplier qualification, audits, and capability assessments.


• Drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, and delivery performance.

Program Support:

• Coordinate cross-functional teams to support customer programs.


• Track engineering deliverables, risks, and mitigation plans.
