Job Description

Praetorian Power Protection, the leader in NETA testing and Staff Augmentation for the Mission Critical Industry, is searching for an experienced MEP Superintendent with a strong data center background to join our team in Reno



 



In this role, you will:




  • Direct and manage all daily MEP site operations, ensuring compliance with OSHA safety regulations.

  • Coordinate closely with field personnel to align with the project plan.

  • Maintain clear communication with the Project Manager regarding daily progress, issues, and solutions.

  • Develop strong relationships with clients and team members to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Contribute to project planning phases such as start-up meetings and scheduling, ensuring a robust mobilization strategy.

  • Oversee subcontractor performance ensuring adherence to quality and ethical standards.

  • Lead safety meetings and inspections to uphold stringent safety protocols across the site.

  • Implement quality management practices including benchmarking and first delivery inspections within scheduled timelines.

  • Handle subcontractor closeout processes including utility transfers and owner training.



 



To qualify for this role, you must have the following background:




  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing and building controls systems, with 2+ years in a leadership role.

  • Strong background in data center construction.

  • Strong understanding of mechanical building system engineering principles.

  • Expertise in LOTO/Control of Hazardous Energy Programs.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex technical scopes.
