JOB DESCRIPTION
Title: Export Compliance Specialist I
Location:  Bangalore, India
 
SCOPE
Export Compliance Specialist will focus on denied party and sanctions screening controls and processes. The Specialist will play a key role in understanding the end to end sanctions screening workflows, from the screening systems to operational processes.

ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
•Ensure we comply with export regulations of various countries by doing a thorough screen search on all parties.
•Performs Individual problem-solving and analytical skills used to authenticate and make determinations on customers.
•Perform deep dives of customer data, using your knowledge of systems and processes to identify gaps and trends in the Denied Party Screening program.
•Maintain a good understanding of complex investigation processes and screening controls.
•Work independently and remain flexible with the ability to prioritize workloads.
•Maintain a resilient attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
•Experience in Denied Party List (DPL) Screening.
•Read, analyze and interpret legal documents.
•Ability to make good solid judgement.
•The capability to drive the right results with a focused and pragmatic approach.
•Detailed and thorough in work habits with high multi-tasking and organizational skills.
•PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment, proficient with internet e-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Outlook and other software.
•Work independently and remain flexible, with the ability to prioritize workloads and maintain resilient attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. 
•Must have good communication skills both verbal and written.
•Ability to be extremely confidential and trustworthy
•Knowledge/experience of U.S. Customs Regulations, U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
•Requires any Bachelor’s Degree.
