What You’ll Do
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, refrigeration units, and dollies, including brake work, trailer repairs, clutch adjustments, and cooling system repairs
- Conduct welding, cutting, and basic fabrication tasks
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic and mechanical systems using manufacturer computer applications
- Work both inside the shop and outdoors as needed
- Document troubleshooting steps and repair activities accurately
- Communicate and coordinate repair priorities with the Shop Manager
