Role
SellScale is building the first Agentic Sales Org, starting with Selix – an AI agent for outbound sales. Think of it as a virtual teammate that lives in your Slack, Salesforce, LI, and email - then works as your sales companion to get top of funnel.
We’re hiring a Founding Business Operations to work directly with the founding team. You’ll be at the center of how SellScale runs—owning projects across go-to-market, internal operations, customer success, and product.
If you’re looking for a place to future-proof your career for the 21st century, this is it. You’re going to be knee-deep in AI Agents, learning about the latest from OpenAI/Anthropic, LLMs, and the future of work. The engineering:ops ratio at SellScale is 3:1, which is an unheard of learning experience for non-technical folks looking to build venture scale businesses. All this will happen not as an ‘associate’, but as an owner, where you will be owning and building key parts of the company.
Requirements
Willing and able to work 5 days a week in-person at our SF office minimum
Prior experience in operations, consulting, banking, PE, sales, or a fast-paced startup environment ( 2 years of work experience required)
Self-starter who can own projects end-to-end without step-by-step guidance
Comfortable with long hours, steep learning curves, and wearing multiple hats
Strong interest in agentic AI, outbound sales, or startup operations
Familiarity with tools like Notion, Excalidraw, and Zapier is a plus
Added premium for prior SQL or coding experience
Skills
Excellent communication and writing skills (you may interface with customers or partners)
Knack for sales - this is a must. You will need to either quickly learn how to onboard onto sales (specifically outreach) or have done it before
Run through walls - there will be a lot of tough challenges left to you, so we need someone who can run through walls, eat nails, and do whatever is needed to get the job done - even unscaleably
Analytical mindset: comfortable with metrics, dashboards, and operational KPIs. You may be managing customer KPIs and your own
Can work cross-functionally across customer success, product, growth, and operations - this is not a role that is “only product” or “only Customer Success”
Bias for action—you prefer to move fast and improve later
