More Than a Job — A Career Path in ABA

At Channel ABA, we don’t just hire technicians—we develop future clinicians and leaders.

We are seeking passionate, growth-oriented RBTs/BHTs and aspiring behavior analysts who want to make a meaningful impact while building a long-term career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Whether you are:

  • ✔️ Starting your journey in ABA

  • ✔️ Currently an RBT looking to grow

  • ✔️ A student pursuing your BCBA

We provide structured support, mentorship, and advancement opportunities to help you reach the next level.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy across home, school, clinic, and community settings

  • Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a supervising BCBA

  • Teach communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills

  • Support behavior reduction and skill acquisition using trauma-informed, assent-based care

  • Collect accurate data and complete clinical documentation (e.g., session notes, progress updates)

  • Collaborate with BCBAs and the clinical team to ensure high-quality care

  • Build professional, supportive relationships with families

  • Participate in supervision, IBHS-required meetings, and ongoing training

Career Growth Pathway (RBT → Intern → BCBA)

Entry-Level / RBT-BHT

  • Paid training (if applicable) + competency-based onboarding

  • Ongoing supervision and clinical coaching

  • IBHS-compliant training and development

    • Caregiver training

    • Clinical decision-making

  • Mentorship in ethical, assent-based ABA practices

BCBA Career Track

  • Clear internal promotion pathway to BCBA roles

  • Leadership development opportunities

  • Involvement in program development and clinical innovation

  • Opportunities to specialize (e.g., severe behavior, caregiver training, systems development)

Qualifications

Required

  • Completion of 40-hour RBT Training through an approved course sequence

  • ✔️ Hands-on mentorship, not just supervision

  • ✔️ Leadership that understands both clinical excellence and real-world implementation

  • ✔️ Opportunities to be part of program development in a growing organization
