Job Description

A Per Diem Occupational Therapist position is now available with St. Ann's Community, conveniently located on 37 beautifully landscaped acres on Rochester’s northeast side. Current New York State licensure as an Occupational Therapist and at minimum a Bachelor’s degree (B.S., M.S. preferred) is required.  As the recipient of a 2016 D&C Readers Choice Award for Favorite Senior Living Community, we are proud to offer The Most Important People on Earth exceptional therapy utilizing state of the art tech and a team approach. 

Premium Per Diem rate offered

This position will require Saturday availability.

 As an Occupational Therapist you will be providing the high quality evaluation and treatment services for which we are renowned. You will also be a key customer service representative in providing the St. Ann’s Experience to our residents, families, visitors, guests, and interdisciplinary staff members. 

Job Duties: 

  • Planning, organizing, developing, implementing, evaluating and directing Occupational Therapy including assisting in the supervision of volunteers, aides, and assistants 

  • Completing necessary documentation in a
    timely manner that is descriptive of the education and care provided

  • Participating in Interdisciplinary care plan
    meetings and rounds   

  • Functioning well in an interdisciplinary team
    environment that emphasizes excellent working relationships with internal and
    external customers  

  • Completing home assessments when indicated 


 Job Requirements: 

  • Current New York State license/registration
    as an Occupational Therapist

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Occupational Therapy, Master’s Degree preferred 

  • Experience with the adult and geriatric
    populations preferred
