BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION
This role leads the wholesale finance operations for assigned division(s), overseeing credit, collections, dealer inventory control, and team performance. The position manages a portfolio of $800M–$1B annually and partners closely with dealers and internal stakeholders to mitigate risk, strengthen relationships, and ensure compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitoring the activities of assigned wholesale credit personnel, including audit assignments and reviews, collection follow-up, and lien perfection.
- Review for approval wholegoods shipments to dealers that are on restricted status or whose outstanding balance exceeds their assigned inventory limit.
- Approve and monitor used floor plan requests and maintain used equipment receivable advances within established guidelines.
- Conduct dealer training and visits to help counsel watchlist dealers, train new dealers and build dealer relationships.
- Responsible for annual collection of dealership financials, personal financials, ownership verification forms and maintenance of proper UCC filings.
- Monitor and recommend approval of all changes to Dealer Sales and Service Agreements including dealer entity changes, name changes, address changes and ownership changes.
- Train, mentor, and develop team members; provide regular coaching and feedback
- Monitor performance, conduct annual reviews, and manage corrective actions when necessary.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high‑performance team culture.
- Encourage open communication and continuous improvement.
- Ensure cross‑training to support operational continuity
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
- 6–8 years of experience in wholesale finance, credit, collections, or inventory management
- Prior leadership or team management experience preferred,
- Strong knowledge of credit analysis, collections, and inventory finance
- Proven leadership and sound decision‑making abilities
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
- Customer‑focused mindset with strong dealer and stakeholder relationship management skills
