Job Description

R&D Engineering Technician

For the Thinker Who Builds. The Builder Who Questions.

Do you look at a machine and wonder how it could work better?

Do you enjoy turning rough ideas into real, working solutions?

Do you like being hands-on and having a voice in how things are designed?

If so, keep reading.

This Is Not a “Follow-the-Checklist” Job

We’re looking for an R&D Engineering Technician who thrives in creative problem-solving, enjoys experimenting, and isn’t afraid to challenge assumptions. You’ll work alongside engineering, production, and sales to help design, test, and refine custom, innovative solutions that actually get used in the real world.

This role is perfect for someone who wants to grow—technically, professionally, and creatively.

What You’ll Get to Do

  • Build and test prototypes, fixtures, and custom solutions

  • Design and assemble electrical control systems using motors, relays, PLCs, drives, sensors, power supplies, and more

  • Use CAD software and 3D printing to turn ideas into tangible results

  • Read, modify, and improve mechanical drawings and electrical schematics

  • Collaborate with engineers, manufacturing, sales, and even customers to solve real problems

  • Support new product development, lean initiatives, and continuous improvement

  • Occasionally travel to customer or supplier sites for hands-on technical support

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need to know everything—but you must want to learn everything.

You might be a great fit if you:

  • Have 1–3 years of hands-on experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment

  • Enjoy working with electrical components, control systems, and fabricated assemblies

  • Think creatively, troubleshoot naturally, and don’t stop at “good enough”

  • Are reliable, self-motivated, and take pride in your work

  • Want to grow into a role that includes design ownership, 3D concepts, BOMs, and PLC programming

Why You’ll Like It Here

  • Your ideas matter—you’re not just building, you’re improving

  • You’ll work on real products, not endless theory

  • You’ll gain exposure across engineering, manufacturing, and customer applications

  • You’ll be part of a team that values safety, collaboration, curiosity, and innovation

Sound Like You?

If you’re the kind of person who asks, “What if we tried it this way?”—we want to hear from you.

Apply now and help build what’s next.
