Job Summary:
Plan, organize, & coordinate the activities of program(s) designed to assist participants with services designed to increase their independence. Manage & provide supervision for assigned staff to complete program goals & objectives. Medicaid experience required. Must have valid driver license with personal auto insurance as well as pass background & driver record check.

Education &/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience &/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following:

  • Provide input to supervisor in preparing an annual budget for the delivery of services provided.
  • Develop & implement approved proposals for new services.
  • Establish & maintain good working relationships with participants, referral agencies, community partners & all team members.
  • Submit data & participate in analysis to support the continuous improvement outcome reporting system.
  • Participate in WFS department meetings, upon request.
  • Seek new sources of revenue that meet Goodwill's mission & align with strategic planning.
  • Provide supervision & leadership to assigned staff.
  • Facilitate a person centered planning approach, which encourages independence & participant voice of each individual served.
  • Attend meetings, conferences, & workshops to enhance skills, as approved or required by supervisor.
  • Understand & enforce personnel policies & procedures, to include work place rules & discipline as they apply to assigned employees & program participants.
  • Stay informed of state & federal laws affecting the organization & the people it serves.
  • Communicate necessary information to supervisor, program participants & other employees along proper channels.
  • Consult with Human Resources to implement Employee Assistance activities focused on helping employees resolve problems that interfere with their work or home life.
  • Coordinate & complete personnel functions according to company policies & procedures to include training, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, & record keeping.
  • Participate in Goodwill fundraising events, as appropriate.
  • Be an active participant & facilitate, as requested, Program Quality Reviews for all assigned programs.
  • Thoroughly review, understand, & implement contracts &/or service guidelines for all assigned programs.
  • Assign & perform specific tasks to meet program goals & objectives.
  • Ensure all paperwork & related activities are current, accurate, & in compliance. This includes case notes & service reports as required for billing.
  • Enter & ensure all required electronic data is entered into Support 2020 Participant Case Management database in a timely & accurate manner.
  • Meet or exceed projected revenue or billable hour goals for all assigned areas.
  • Assist in developing natural supports for participants.
  • Assist participants in achieving the highest level of independence while receiving services.
  • Provide & oversee services in accordance with Goodwill policies, CARF standards, & principles of safety.
  • Be proficient in performing & overseeing essential functions for all program staff assigned.
  • Model & train appropriate work behaviors & interpersonal skills.
  • Follow all policies, procedures, & directives of Goodwill, assuring safety of personnel or property.
  • Work collaboratively with WFS to provide participant services.
  • Properly wear & maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain agency confidentiality. Violation of confidentiality is cause for immediate dismissal.
  • Comply with all health, safety & fire standards & all local, state & federal regulations (WISHA & OSHA).
  • Other duties as assigned.
