Illini Environmental Inc. is an EPA Permitted Non-Hazardous Disposal Facility that actively maintains environmental risk management to mitigate exposure to potential liability. We reduce environmental risk and produce new value stream for any product or process by redefining what it means to work with managed material. 

ILLINI Environmental, LLC is currently seeking a highly motivated Assistant Mechanic / Maintenance Tech looking to work for a progressive, fast-growing company. ILLINI has invested in new equipment and technology to ensure our team members have the best tools available to serve our customers. Duties will include assisting Head Mechanic in fluid changes, tire changes and other duties as assigned. Will also perform general building maintenance.

 

Responsibilities:

•    Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies and processes and always acting in a safe manner
•    Perform oil changes
•    Perform tire changes
•    Assist Head Mechanic in major repairs
•    Perform General Building Maintenance
•    Maintain a clean and orderly shop environment

 

Qualifications:
•    Minimum of 1-year Mechanical Experience Preferred
•    Safety oriented mindset with the determination to follow all procedures and policies
•    Ability to work well in a team environment critical
