Granger Medical Clinic is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse to join our team, serving both our Bountiful and Tooele locations. This is an immediate opening for a skilled and adaptable nurse who thrives in a collaborative clinical environment.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of competence in a medical office setting, with the ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with providers and staff. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, effective prioritization, adaptability to change, and a consistent display of professionalism. The ability to quickly learn and utilize new technologies is essential.
Schedule
- 40 hours per week
- Primarily based in the Bountiful clinic
- Must be willing to travel to the Tooele clinic at least one day per week (mileage reimbursement provided)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with physicians, staff, and patients
- Ability to delegate tasks effectively and support team workflow
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to exercise sound clinical judgment
- Proven customer service, multitasking, and communication skills
- Team-oriented with a positive, patient-focused attitude
- Basic computer proficiency required
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Collaborate with and support clinical staff to deliver high-quality patient care
- Promote clear and effective communication within the clinical team
- Work closely with physicians, PAs, and support staff to provide patient care, including rooming patients, assisting with procedures, performing telephone triage, and maintaining exam rooms
- Serve as a scribe by accurately documenting patient encounters in the electronic medical record
- Administer injections, including topical anesthesia
- Ensure proper cleaning and sterilization of instruments
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment
- Assist in planning and promoting community skin cancer screenings
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Utah
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience preferred
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Repetitive motion associated with computer and office equipment use
- Work performed in a climate-controlled indoor environment
