About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Pension Software Testing Analyst to support internal pension administration systems by leading and executing software testing activities, with a strong focus on test automation, quality engineering, and continuous improvement.
The Senior Pension Software Testing Analyst will play a key role in strengthening automated testing capabilities, supporting both manual and automated testing as required, mentoring team members, and helping establish a robust testing foundation as the team continues its transition toward quality engineering practices.
As the Newest Member of our Team, You’ll:
- Review and assess defects and enhancement requests and support impact analysis for pension system changes
- Plan, design, and execute testing for pension system defects, enhancements, and integrations with external systems
- Design, document, and maintain the testing environment, including data refreshes, maintenance schedules, and software updates
- Build, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and regression test suites, primarily using Python and BDD approaches
- Support the team’s transition toward quality engineering by sharing knowledge, mentoring team members, and improving testing practices
- Coordinate and support user acceptance testing activities
- Execute both automated and manual testing as required to ensure system quality and reliability
- Work closely with developers, business systems analysts, and technical leads to clarify requirements and validate delivered changes
- Support CI/CD test pipeline setup, version control, and automation integration
- Maintain comprehensive regression coverage across core pension system processes and calculations
To Succeed, You Bring:
- A university degree or college diploma in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in software testing environments, with a strong emphasis on test automation
- Strong hands-on experience with Python, BDD testing, SQL, and ETL concepts
- Experience designing and maintaining automated regression testing frameworks
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and modern testing practices
- Experience working with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server databases
- Exposure to tools such as Ranorex, MicroFocus/Borland Silk Test Suite, jUnit, Unified Functional Testing (HP), or similar platforms
- Experience with Azure DevOps is an asset
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate, mentor others, and explain complex concepts clearly
- A proactive, self‑starter mindset with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Comfort working in an agile, remote, and deadline‑driven environment
The target hiring salary for this position is $96,800.00- $113,800.00. Placement within our salary range will be based on factors such as internal equity, market conditions, and the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
