JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage glass and glazing projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts.
- Perform detailed material take-offs and manage procurement of glass, aluminum extrusions, sealants, gaskets, and hardware.
- Track supplier lead times and pricing fluctuations in the glazing market.
- Draft, review, and approve shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, general contractors, vendors, and field personnel.
- Oversee on-site installation of glazing systems to ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
- Conduct quality control inspections, including watertightness testing and finish evaluations.
- Resolve design conflicts, field issues, and scope changes efficiently.
- Maintain complete project documentation, including as-builts, warranties, test reports, and closeout packages.
