The Position:
 
We are looking for a dependable individual with a great attention to detail to join our sewing team as a Sewing Inspector in our Hickory, NC location.
 
This individual will:
 
  • Retrieve sewn product from Buggies, belts etc. prior to inspection process.
  • Inspect sewn parts for accuracy upon completion of the sewing process to include configuration of work order details.
  • Record defects.
  • Return defective parts to operators for corrections.
  • Sort inspected products upon completion of the inspection process to include bundling of specified cushions with associated product.
  • Communicate with Sewing Lead and other departmental staffing.
 
Candidates that will be a great fit will:
  • Have previous experience in a manufacturing and/or sewing setting.
  • Have previous inspection experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Be able to perform repetitive tasks such as turning wrists, bending, lift, twist, reach and turn wrists for extended periods of time.
  • Have a great eye for detail.
  • Be able to stand and walk for 100% of shift.
  • Be able to raise up to 20 pounds of weight from floor level to waist height tabletop up to 60 times per shift.

Shift: Monday to Thursday 7am- 4:30, Friday 7am -11am
 
Pay: DOE
