Position Summary
This project will be comprised of many different smaller projects at 5 different New York State Parks. Although the location will vary, the underlying theme of the projects will remain consistent. The Projects will be focused on Invasive Species Management and Mitigation. As this is the greatest threat facing these Parks our goal is to reduce the invasive plant population and increase the health and integrity of native plants. This in turn will have a tremendous beneficial impact on the ecological integrity of the ecosystems.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Members are to arrive on time for scheduled work days either at the work site or designated meeting location; Members will engage in hands on physical service work.
Marginal Duties
75% Invasive Species Management(Training Provided) 15% Environmental Education 10% General Conservation Stewardship
Required Qualifications
Must be able to submit valid NY State Working Papers.

Hours
30 per week
Living Accommodations
This is a commuting crew. Members will return home each afternoon after the work day concludes.
Compensation
Hourly Wage- $17.00/hour for 30 Hours Per week. Commuting Allowance- $34.00/week
All allowances are subject to applicable federal, state, and local taxes.
