Overview of Job Function:
DSVM team ( data security & vulnerability management) is responsible for identifying, tracking, and communicating threats and vulnerabilities that may impact Verint.. We will accomplish this mission by working closely with infrastructure security, infrastructure, IT and other teams/asset owners as necessary.
Additionally, the team will be primarily responsible for the maintenance and configuration of the enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solution and other data security tools. The main duties of the person in this role will include proper care and administration of the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and other security environments and configuration of the tools. This role will include researching and resolving technical issues prioritizing data security threats. The role holder acts as a subject matter expert identifying tuning opportunities for the threat detection capabilities and training and coaching junior team members. This person will interface with IT Operations, Network Operations, Infrastructure teams, Legal, Risk Management, etc
Responsibilities
Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
- Operate as First level support for all incoming inquiries.
- Work with vendors to support DLP and other security tools (troubleshooting, upgrades, etc.)
- Administration of the Data Security tools which includes configuring threat detection and DLP policies.
- Identify, prioritize, and respond to data security threats.
- Assist in incident determination, prevention, and remediation.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve detection criteria of the tools.
- Inventory systems and software
- Scan networked systems
- Identify threats and vulnerabilities
- Evaluate and prioritize vulnerabilities and remediate
- Report (dashboards, analytics, compliance)
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:3 years of related experience within IT professional services,
- Great written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Cloud Platforms.
- Demonstrated scripting or other automation capabilities.
- Ability to independently research and solve technical issues
- Good understanding of log monitoring
- Administration of the Data Security tools which includes configuring policies, upgrading and patching, etc.
- Proven effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to independently research and solve technical issues
- Good Understanding of Data Security Domain throughout the Data Security Lifecycle
- Good understanding of log monitoring
- Good Investigative, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated integrity in a professional environment
- Knowledge of core Information Security concepts related to Governance, Risk & Compliance and cyber security.

- Good social, communication and technical writing skills
