Dishwasher - Wendover



Pay rate: $13.00 / hour



The Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning all glass, china, silver, pots, and pans. Also maintains a safe, hazard free work area and follow established procedures for cleaning and running of kitchen equipment. Works between both Wendover nugget hotel & casino and Red Garter Hotel & casino, if needed.

 
 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Assume responsibility for the cleanliness of dishware.

· Load, run and unload dish machine.

· Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware.

· Bag and haul kitchen trash/boxes to dumpster.

· Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining rooms and kitchen.

· Clean food preparation and production areas as required.

· Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations and assists others in closing the kitchen.

· Performs related and/or other duties as required.

Requirements

  

· Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

· Must possess a positive attitude and work well with other team members.

· Be able to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time.

· Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with a minimum of supervision.

· Be able to work in a fast paced kitchen environment.

· Able to use kitchen equipment to specification.

· Able to maintain a safe working environment.

· Able to maintain a sanitary work area.
