POSITION:    Teaching Assistant

LOCATION:   North Franklin Educational Center, Malone

DESCRIPTION:

• Provide instructional services to students under the general supervision of Teachers
• Plan, implement and evaluate instruction and pupil performance as specified (by the IEP where appropriate), for individual and/or groups of students
• Plan and implement specified parts of the daily schedule of topics of the curriculum
• Maintain standards of behavior for students using behavior management techniques which enhance the students' development toward independence
• Plan and implement remedial instruction when necessary
• Perform various clerical and related duties assigned by the Teacher and Administrator

QUALIFICATIONS:   NYS Certification as a Teaching Assistant

STARTING DATE:     ASAP
  
SALARY:                   $24,584 (2025-26 Base Salary) - Consideration for additional salary may be granted based upon education and experience
