The RN Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing clinical leadership and day to day supervision of clinical staff, to included ancillary staff members. The RN Clinical Supervisor is responsible for JCAHO, OSHA and other regulatory compliance in the clinical setting. The RN Clinical Supervisor is responsible for staffing schedules for all clinical staff.

Responsibilities

The RN Clinical Supervisor responsibilities including, but not limited to the following:

  • Supervises department staff, including hiring, training, evaluating performance and competence, and conduction disciplinary/counseling sessions as needed.
  • Works with Clinic Administrator in development of the 10-year plan and annual budget.
  • Assumes responsibility for the Clinic Administrator in the administrator absence.
  • Ensures compliance with all appropriate regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards for nursing (JCAHO, OSHA, HIPAA, etc.)
  • Responsible for patient safety and risk management for the clinic; identifies high risk situations and initiates the problem-solving process. 
  • Reports to the Clinic Administrator and Director of Operations for INTEGRIS Physicians Services. 
  • This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements. Potential for exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, chemicals. Must follow standard precautions.

  • For ISMC only: Working collaboratively with Neurologist and other physicians to meet Stroke core measures and to ensure patients receive timely interventions and treatments.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE:
•2 years of experience as an RN

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:
•RN (Registered Nurse) Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state
•BLS (Basic Life Support) Issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire

Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written).
