Universal Technical Resource Services, Inc. (UTRS) is currently seeking an Industrial Engineer to join our team! This position will be a part of a team that focuses on modernizing a production facility infrastructure. This position is located at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ.
What will you be doing?
This position will be a key member of the Production Facility team. Duties include:
- Design layout improvements, upgrading equipment, and optimizing space to maximize productivity of a manufacturing facility
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental regulations and building codes
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors and stakeholders for facility modernization
- Attend stakeholder meetings and brief updates to stakeholders
- Other duties as assigned
What skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful?
This position will require the following skillsets and experience:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering with 1-5 years of experience, preferably within manufacturing facilities
- Project management experience
- Pass drug and alcohol testing
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be a team player, able to multitask and prioritize accordingly
- Basic PC knowledge (MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Travel requirements up to 20%
- Must be able to obtain a CAC ID
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be US Citizen and able to obtain a SECRET security clearance
