Job Summary:

As a Learning & Development HR Intern, you�ll bring curiosity, organization, and attention to detail to every project. You�ll help support the systems and training programs that ensure our employees are prepared to provide safe, high-quality care to seniors.

This position is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys working with systems and data, and wants meaningful hands-on experience in healthcare HR and employee development. You�ll be part of a supportive team in a collaborative, mission-focused environment where learning, growth, and service come first.

Hourly Wage:

$15.00 /hr.

Schedule:

Flexible internship hours in a hybrid work environment based out of Pittsburgh, PA. Specific work hours will be established in consultation with your supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support daily administration of the Learning Management System (LMS), including maintaining employee profiles and training assignments.
  • Upload, test, and publish training modules for clinical and non-clinical staff.
  • Maintain learning paths aligned with job roles and compliance requirements.
  • Track required training completion and follow up on overdue assignments.
  • Generate reports on training completion, overdue items, and department trends.
  • Assist with audits, surveys, and compliance reviews by maintaining accurate training records.
  • Help update onboarding materials, job aids, and learning resources.
  • Review training content for quality, consistency, and accessibility.
  • Assist with special projects related to employee learning and development.
  • Participate in team meetings and support additional HR initiatives as needed.

Education and Experience:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Education, Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Organizational Development, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Interest in healthcare learning, compliance, or HR technology preferred.
  • Previous internship, office, or project experience is a plus � but not required.

Requirements:

  • Valid state driver�s license with a clean driving record
  • Successful completion of background check, physical, drug screening, and TB screening

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and move intermittently during working hours.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, or move training materials and office supplies as needed.
