Maschmeyer Concrete of Florida is currently seeking a highly motivated, dependable Forklift Operator to join our team at our Concrete Block Production Plants in major cities throughout Florida.
Concrete Block Forklift Operator Job Specifications include:
1 year of experience operating a forklift; preferred
Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift (ex. Moffet); preferred
Ability to communicate effectively
Required availability: Monday – Saturday
Forklift Operator Tasks & Responsibilities:
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Communicate any needed repairs, safety issues, or concerns to the management team
Maintain a clean and safe forklift by
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance
Safely operate a forklift to efficiently transport concrete blocks around the plant
Ability to read tickets and pull orders with detailed accuracy
Properly load and unload concrete block from flatbed trucks and conveyer lines
Assist with daily housekeeping duties to maintain a safe environment free of debris
