Kitchen Tune-Up is hiring an experienced In-Home Sales Consultant for our Northern New Jersey territory. We sell mid-to-high-end kitchen and bath remodeling — refacing, redooring, full custom kitchens, full bath remodels, tub-to-shower conversions, and aging-in-place upgrades.

This role is built for experienced K&B closers who want qualified leads, real income protection, and a back-office that lets you focus on selling — not drafting.

WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT

WHAT YOU'LL SELL
  • Kitchens: refacing, redooring, painting, full custom kitchens, premium cabinetry
  • Baths: vanity refresh, tub-to-shower conversions, full bath remodels
  • Aging-in-place / accessibility: walk-in showers, grab bars, ADA-compliant layouts — a fast-growing segment in Essex County
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Run 5 to 7 in-home consultations per week with qualified, pre-screened homeowners
  • Present financing options, ask for the order, follow up until you close
  • Hand off design specs to our in-house designers, who handle drawings and revisions
  • Coordinate with the project manager on clean product orders
  • Walk the job with our in-house installers before work starts and stay engaged through completion
  • Build a referral pipeline with designers, contractors, builders, and real estate partners
  • Hold a minimum 30% close rate
WHAT WE REQUIRE
  • In-home sales experience in kitchen & bath, remodeling, or comparable home improvement category — required
  • One-call-close mentality with proven track record
  • Comfortable presenting and closing tickets from $20K to $100K+
  • Strong negotiator, persistent follow-up, confident presenting financing
  • Professional presence — you'll be in clients' homes
  • Reliable transportation, smartphone, basic computer skills
  • Available days, with some evenings and weekend appointments
  • Familiarity with design tools (20-20, ProKitchen, etc.) preferred but not required — our designers handle the drawings
