Job Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION:  

We are seeking an accomplished Head of Sales to lead the commercial strategy and revenue growth for one of the companies in our Aviation Software division. 

The successful candidate will oversee sales team, develop strategic customer relationships, and drive market expansion into new segments and geographies. You will play a pivotal role in defining the go-to-market strategy, accelerating revenue growth, and strengthening our presence within the aviation ecosystem including airlines, airports, ground handlers, and aviation service providers. 

This is a senior leadership role suited for someone who combines deep industry knowledge with strong commercial leadership and relationship management skills -  someone passionate about delivering innovative aviation technology solutions that create measurable value for customers. It is a player-coach role for someone who is comfortable both coaching the team and driving best practices, as well as rolling up the sleeves to drive pipeline development and generate new opportunities.  
 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

•  Develop and execute the regional sales strategy and go-to-market plans to drive revenue growth and expand market share within the aviation MRO sector. 

•  Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships with key customers, strategic partners, and industry stakeholders. 

•  Collaborate closely with Product Management and Marketing to ensure customer needs, market trends, and competitive insights inform product strategy and positioning. 

•  Own and manage the full sales lifecycle, from pipeline development and opportunity management through contract negotiation and deal closure. 

•  Establish and monitor sales performance metrics (KPIs) including revenue growth, pipeline health, conversion rates, and customer acquisition and retention. 

•  Identify new market opportunities, strategic partnerships, and emerging trends within the aviation technology landscape. 

•  Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Operations, Customer Success, and Support) to ensure successful customer onboarding, delivery, and long-term satisfaction. 

•  Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing sales professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and results-driven performance.
