Job Description

Full Time, Days

Directs and provides leadership over operations. Has ability to hire, fire and discipline. Typically reporting to hospital COO.

Responsibilities

Ensures personnel maintain, operate, test, inspect and perform preventative maintenance checks and repair medical electronic/ hydraulic, pneumatic equipment. Operates patient safety equipment and understands recorded data. Processes all equipment repairs and preventative maintenance checks on all equipment. Submits reports, purchase orders and records. Schedules work assignments. 

Qualifications

Education
Required:  Must have an Associate degree in Biomed/related field or equivalent military training certificate. 
Preferred:  Bachelor's degree in Biomed or related field.

Experience
Required:  10 years in Biomedical Department. 5 years in supervision.
