QUALIFICATIONS:


Required:




  • High school diploma or G.E.D.; Associates Degree in IT preferred




  • Must satisfactorily complete Bureau of Criminal Investigation background check.

POSITION DESCRIPTION




  • Assist with repair and inventory of Chromebooks




  • Provide technical consulting assistance related to systems and software to school personnel.




  • Maintain and support district computer labs (stationary as well as wireless cart systems) including any software/hardware as needed.




  • Maintain a proactive role in understanding and evaluating Windows and Google based products.




  • Assist with training of staff on specific hardware/software.




  • Assist with coordinating, administering and supporting the installation of the instructional wireless systems.




  • Provide technical support to users related to district hardware and software.




  • Install District-standard hardware software, peripheral, and non-computer equipment upgrades.




  • Interface peripheral devices with computers.




  • Maintain competency in current operating systems, desktop computer hardware, and peripherals used in the district.




  • Troubleshoot and repair or replace district hardware including, but not limited to: desktop and laptop Windows.




  • Assist with maintaining inventory control of parts required in repairs or replacement.




  • Identify computer software, hardware, and communication problems.




  • Perform other tasks related to the position, as assigned by the Technology Coordinator.
