Job Description

The Extended Day Care Director should have experience working with young children. In addition, he/she would be responsible for the direct supervision of students within the program as well as the staff.

Hours for the position are as follows:
Monday: 7:50 AM – 6:00 PM
Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Thursday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Friday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Essential Functions

  • Supervise the daily operations of the Extended Care Program.
  • Supervise aides in planning appropriate social, physical, and creative activities for the students.
  • Provide a safe and clean environment for the students.
  • Record daily student attendance.
  • Record daily payments and post to the accounts receivable system.
  • Work with the Business Office on monthly billing.
  • Communicate daily with Extended Care Program parents regarding concerns or issues, schedule changes, and general administrative matters.
  • Supervision of day care staff members.
  • Communicate all significant concerns and issues to the school administration.
  • Comply with all regulations of the State Letter of Compliance.
  • Complete all paperwork required to update and maintain the State Letter of Compliance.

Position Qualifications

  • Experience working with children / High School Diploma (must be 18 years)
  • MSDE childcare credentialing or willingness to obtain.
  • First Aid and CPR certified.
  • Excellent references.

Range:  $16-19, Hourly
