Duties

You will manage the proper execution of all funding to support SLC operations while establishing and approving necessary monetary and quantitative controls.,You will exercise responsibility for N8 employees and facilitate the development of process improvements to enhance organizational efficiency.,You will formulate resource policy changes and provide strategic recommendations to correct financial management deficiencies across the command.,You will administer financial, supply, timekeeping, and travel programs to ensure strict adherence to Congressional, DOD, DON, and Navy instructions and laws.,You will provide primary subject matter advice and training to Department and non-financial personnel regarding the management of financial resources.,You will coordinate and provide command responses for Audit Readiness testing as required by higher authority to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Executing organizational budgets and approving financial controls to ensure funding is properly managed and allocated for operational needs; 2) Developing resource policies, correcting financial management issues, and coordinating audit readiness to ensure compliance with federal regulations; 3) Supervising and counseling a team of employees by directing their work, applying management principles, and guiding process improvements; and 4) Managing financial, supply, and administrative programs while providing subject matter advice and training to staff on proper resource management.
