Description
Safely operate all condensate stabilizing facilities and related equipment
Monitor stabilizers, compressors, pumps, vapor units, boilers, and LACT units for efficient performance
Load / unload condensate and NGL trucks; run samples and tests (copper strip, BS&W, RVP, caustic & amine)
Assist with facility upsets, start-ups, turnarounds, and overtime when needed
Inspect tanks, piping, and field equipment; troubleshoot issues and take corrective action
Check rotating equipment, pressures, and flows; adjust automatic and manual controls
Gauge tanks for crude oil and water transfer and sales
Utilize electronic remote well supervision to optimize production and reduce safety/environmental risk
Input daily volumes, downtime, well tests, and compressor reports into company database
Monitor production data for accuracy; report production losses and resolutions
Maintain chemical injection rates and assist with minor repairs
Regulatory support: agency testing requirements, change of status, tank/meter numbering
Work closely with Operations & I&E to optimize instrumentation and controls
Maintain housekeeping, recordkeeping, and safe work practices
Operate a company-provided vehicle when performing field duties
Build positive working relationships with internal teams and 3rd-party truck partners
Requirements
5–7 years of oil & gas industry experience required
Associate’s Degree or Trade Certification in Production/Process Technology or related technical field preferred
Must be willing and able to work a 8/6 rotation of both day and night shifts
Able to travel up to 10% annually
Must be willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodation) to:
Work in extreme temperatures and adverse weather
Work in multiple field locations daily
Work inside and outside of a company vehicle
Wear required PPE
Climb up to 30 feet
Walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift as needed
Use hand tools to perform minor repairs
Able to work weekends and be on call
Intermediate understanding of fractionation processes
Basic knowledge of gas/liquid measurement, product drying, and sweetening
Basic mechanical and instrumentation knowledge
Proficient with laptops and production reporting software
Can prepare clear and accurate reports
Able to comprehend production and financial reporting
Able to respond to alarms, oral instructions, and written procedures
