Job Description

Gudrun

Gudrun Sjoden, a Swedish clothing company with a green soul is currently looking for a dynamic Outlet Assistant Store Manager in St Louis Park, MN. The Assistant Store Manager will report to and assist the Store Manager. This role will support the Store Manager in the daily business operations of the store including styling customers, training and supervising employees, managing inventory levels, and helping with visual merchandising.

  • Ensure that all opening and closing procedures are correctly followed.
  • Oversee all deliveries and BOH functions to maintain accurate inventory and guest experience
  • Ensure staff are trained in all areas of appropriate POS usage, ensuring credit and cash control procedures are correctly followed.
  • Assume responsibility for loss prevention in risk management, physical security, store cash controls, inventory management, and client data maintenance.
  • Assist the Outlet Manager in implementing and maintaining all merchandising directives and ensuring execution of all visual merchandising standards.
  • Ensure the selling floor, windows and mannequins are neat and organized, continually reflecting the appropriate visual image of the Gudrun Sjoden Brand.
  • Recruit, train, motivate, and develop staff, ensuring all positions are filled promptly with qualified personnel.
  • Resolve all employee issues promptly and effectively, partnering with the Manager and HR when necessary.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all company data.
  • Additional projects and tasks in all areas of the role as needed.

This is an on-site role, Full-time, based in Minnesota. 

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of leadership experience as an Assistant Store Manager
  • Experience in training and managing a team
  • Decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience with POS software
  • Social media involvement
  • Strong Communication Skills

Hourly pay rate: $21.- $26. depending on experience
