Psychiatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse 


 Position Description:

The Medical Department serves as the primary medical care for the residents of Oakwood to include psychiatric, seizure control and general medical needs to include acute and chronic medical care. The Psychiatry Advanced Practice Registered Nurse job duties include, but are not limited to, attending medical rounds and meetings, providing Psychiatric Assessments to individuals, perform physical examinations as necessary, take night and weekends call as directed, and provide individualized services to meet the treatment needs of patients in the field of care.

 


 Education:  Master's degree in nursing.



Required Qualifications:


  • Must have APRN license for the state of Kentucky
  • Must be able to meet criminal background and drug screening standard
