Job Description:

  • Strategise and initiate implementation of activities to deliver the job purpose as described above
  • Ensure HSE Assurance, Incident Investigation & Learning and ESH Management System requirements are effectively implemented within the OUs
  • Accountable for the role of Process Owner on SOP related to   HSE Assurance, Incident Investigation & Learning and ESH Management System . To identify the relevant SOP with relevant team members to ensure that they are adequately identified and controls to mitigate associated risks as are adequately mitigated. Act as an owner to initiate approval process on deviations once advised by the region. Own the process of deviation and report out for management visibility.
  • With the team, guide & assist Regions on development and implementation of  HSE Assurance, Incident Investigation & Learning and ESH Management System Plan and programs
  • Guide & assist Regions in the preparation and maintenance of specific Policies, Procedures and Instruction.
  • Accountable as the custodian of ESH Assurance and Incident Investigation processes and ensure consistent support to the region to allow availability of  subject matter expertise advise for investigation and follow up on any incident / accident / complaint.
  • Carry out duties as assigned by the Head from time to time.

Job requirement:

At least a Bachelor Degree in Science / Engineering / ESH / Sustainability.

Preferably more than 8 years’ experience in managing ESH / SQM portfolio at region / zone / operations level, preferably upstream of palm oil industry operations.
