Job Description



This is a remote position.

·         Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications using Laravel and Symfony and In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and mastery of the Laravel framework, including its architecture (MVC), Blade templating engine, and built-in features.

·        Design RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
·        Write clean, reusable, and testable code following best practices
·        Optimize application performance, security, and scalability
·        Work with databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and ORM tools (Eloquent, Doctrine)
·        Collaborate with frontend developers (Angular/React/Blade/Twig)
·        Participate in code reviews and technical planning
·        Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues
·        Maintain documentation and follow SDLC processes


Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in  Pure PHP (7.x/8.x)

- Strong proficiency with Laravel and Symfony with at least 3 years ago


- Database Expertise: Experience with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL and knowledge of SQL for database design and querying


- Version Control: Proficiency in using version control systems, specifically Git.



- Solid understanding of MVC architecture
·         Solid understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns

·      Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and authentication (JWT, OAuth)

·         Proficiency in MySQL / PostgreSQL
·        Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

·        Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript

·        Familiarity with Linux server environments
·        Understanding of security best practices

 

# Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines

- Experience with Redis, queues, and background jobs

- Familiarity with AWS / DigitalOcean

- PHPUnit / automated testing

- Agile/Scrum experience
