In this role with the Radio-Canada News team in Montreal, you will be responsible for planning, directing, editing and assembling a program in whole or in part. You will program, operate and ensure the reliable performance of the automated switching system as well as its peripheral equipment.
Please note that these are on-call positions.
Your profile:
Qualifications:
College diploma (DCS) in electronics or audiovisual production
Three (3) to five (5) years’ related experience
Experience as a Director
Skills / Job Requirements:
Proficiency in operating automated control rooms
Strong ability to work well under pressure for extended periods with multiple people and technical systems
Sound knowledge of production tools (Avid, iNews and OverDrive)
Solid command of French (working language)
English is an asset
Good general knowledge, especially of current events
Keen interest in working in a news environment
Availability to work various shifts within an operational window ranging from 4 a.m. to midnight
Interest in all facets of audiovisual content production across multiple delivery platforms
