Description

Saint Bridget Catholic School in Richmond, VA is seeking a full-time Library Media Specialist for the 2026-27 school year. 

 

The Library Media Specialist will work collaboratively with staff, students, and families to address the educational needs of learners and will implement a program that integrates and embeds 21st-century skills through a visionary school media program. The Library Media Specialist will maintain a diverse and current media collection (electronic and print) and will facilitate student and staff use of these resources in the media center(s). The position emphasizes effective integration of instructional technologies with the Diocesan consensus curriculum, communication with families, and continual program evaluation and development.

Requirements

All permanent professional personnel employed at Saint Bridget School must have a degree and be certified by the Commonwealth of Virginia. Successful candidates will possess a strong commitment to Catholic education, superior communication skills both written and spoken, superior interpersonal, organizational, and managerial skills, enthusiasm, a positive attitude, flexibility, and are hardworking, collaborative team players.

 

This is a full-time, 10-month position (Monday-Friday, 7:30-3:30, mid-August through early-June).
